Margaret River Planner is published by ENTDECKWERK. This notice describes the services currently used to plan, save and share trips.
Trip information you choose to save
Trip details may include dates, party size, ages, stay, preferences, budgets and planning notes. Use only information needed to plan; do not include payment details, identity documents or medical records. Saved trips are held in the hosted database, not just browser storage.
A necessary, HTTP-only guest cookie links this browser to its saved trips for up to 90 days. There is no account or email recovery. Clearing that cookie removes access from the browser. Trips remain until deleted; deleting a trip also revokes its shared link. You can request assistance through the company contact page.
Shared itineraries
Share links contain a random identifier and show a read-only snapshot of public stops, areas and timings. Private trip dates, stay name, ages, budgets, dietary and access notes, and booking status are excluded. Anyone with the link can view it until you revoke it. Refreshing a share link replaces the previous link.
Optional analytics
Google Analytics loads only after you choose Allow analytics. It stays disabled before a choice, after refusal, in local previews and on shared trip pages. Advertising consent stays denied. The preference belongs to this domain and browser; it is not automatically shared across the collection.
Use Cookie preferences in the footer to change your choice. Withdrawal stops future analytics loading, clears accessible first-party Analytics cookies and reloads the page when required; it cannot undo data already sent. Analytics receives a scrubbed page address without trip query parameters. Trip details are not sent as analytics events.
Service providers and external links
Hosting and database services are provided through OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare. Google Fonts receives connection information when fonts load. Google Analytics processes optional usage measurement after consent. These services may process data outside Australia. Linked operators and mapping services have their own policies.
