How Margaret River Planner works
Margaret River Planner brings stays, food, wine and experiences into one editable leisure trip. It covers the region from Busselton to Augusta and helps you see how a day fits together before you commit to bookings.
Give the trip its shape
Choose fixed dates or a flexible month, the days you have, your base, party, interests and pace. Arrival time means when you are ready to explore locally; travel into the region is separate. Accommodation and activities have separate budget targets so you can make deliberate choices.
Make the days your own
Add an idea, preview its timing and replace an unlocked stop with another local option. Move a stop to a different day, adjust its time or leave it in the wishlist. Lock a reservation to keep its position during later changes. Timing conflicts remain visible rather than being hidden by the planner.
One connected collection
Planner reads the published listing directories of Margaret River Experiences, Hotels, Restaurants, Wine Region and Luxury. Sources refresh automatically, at most once per hour while Planner is being used. Updates become available after a successful refresh without a separate Planner listing edit.
New discoveries can be explored immediately. Where duration, location or suitability has not been established, an item stays out of automatic day generation. If a source cannot be refreshed, the last successful information is retained and marked for checking; it is not treated as freshly verified.
Save, share and book
Guest trips are saved in hosted storage and linked to this browser by a necessary cookie. There is no account recovery if that cookie is lost. A revocable share link shows a read-only itinerary and omits private preferences, trip dates, stay name and booking status.
Bookings remain with the named provider. Opening a link is not a reservation, and marking a stop booked records your own confirmation rather than a verified supplier response. Saved trips retain their stops when catalogue information changes and flag relevant changes for review.
Know what still needs checking
Travel times are locality-based planning allowances, not measured road routes. Exact opening hours, availability, restrictions and most prices need provider confirmation. Budget targets are not a complete quote. Planner does not operate a staffed concierge or unified checkout.
